What is the procedure for requesting and migrating a website?

Easy! If you are already a cdmon user, and you have a Hosting with us, you only have to request the migration through your Control Panel, or email the address comercial@cdmon.com. Once our technical team receives the migration request, our technicians will contact you to start the migration process.

Is email also imported with the migration?

You can import email completely free of charge with the import tool in your Control Panel. Please remember that neither contacts nor calendars are imported in the email migration, as these belong to the email manager.

Will the migration of the website result in any interruption in the service?

Yes, when migrating the website, you must modify the DNS of your domain to point to your new Hosting. If your domain is in cdmon, you can modify the DNS in your Control Panel in the management of the domain, but if your domain is registered with another provider, you will have to contact your current registrar to change the DNS of your domain for those of cdmon. Changing the DNS servers takes approximately from 5 to 24 hours, which is why we recommend that you make the change in a time slot that has the least impact on the website.
